About

Yosimi Ratna, or more known as CHIMI, is an illustrator based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.Chimi has been curious about children's mind and imagination since in high school. That motivated her to choose Early Childhood Education as major, despite her immense interest in art, especially painting. After graduating as Bachelor of Early Childhood Education from Yogyakarta State University, she began working towards becoming an illustrator to apply her knowledge in children literature. Her first professional work as an illustrator was in January 2019. Aside from illustrating for children's book, she also working as book cover designer, mainly for online reading platform. She currently active in creating comic as well.
